The Sharp Institute for Biblical Worldview Studies is a division of Creation Truth Foundation, Inc. Its primary purpose is to create a forum by which traditional Biblical Worldview can be understood and established, beginning in Genesis, particularly the first twelve chapters. The foundation for every Christian doctrine can be traced to an event recorded and preserved in these writings of Moses, and without an understanding of these foundations, man is left to his own devises as to his origin, purpose, identity and destiny.
The secular worldview that permeates modern society has created a crisis within America’s Christian culture; belief in the foundational truth of God’s Word has been undermined and many Christians today are unknowingly operating from an evolutionary materialist worldview. This has had far-reaching effects, leading to breakdowns and crises in the lives, families and churches of many professing believers.
The basic reason for these problems, however, is the absence of belief in the Bible as basic truth, especially within the realm of science. If one cannot believe the Bible is true in one area, then the Bible’s authority in all areas is questionable. Therefore, believing in the scientific and historic truth of the Bible is pivotal to belief in God’s Word as absolute Truth.
