The mission of any organization, especially a 501(c)(3) organization, as is Creation Truth Foundation Inc., is accomplished through dedicated projects that are specially designed to fulfill its mission statement.

CTF, began in 1989 as a not-for-profit corporation in the state of Alabama and moved its corporate distinction to Oklahoma in 1994 after Dr. Sharp, its founder, moved to Oklahoma.

Accordingly, CTF, being the parent organization, has departments (in some cases that function as dba's), whose primary function is to target specific aspects of the mission statement and to provide programs and projects for the fulfillment of their portion of the mission statement.

It is within this departmental framework that CTF, has been able to categorize and prioritize her programs and projects to best attain the fulfillment of their mission statement.

The West has become Pagan!

It is now a matter of historical record that Western thought and culture has come under the total domination of a “scientific” based mind-set called evolutionary materialism. In his recent book The New Paganism, Dr. Harold Linsell said that, for the most part, American thought and life is no longer influenced by the Hebrew-Christian ethic.

As a matter of fact, Linsell’s conclusion is that we are now living in a post-Christian era! Moreover, by the mid 1970’s, Dr. W.P. Shaftstall, Arizona superintendent of schools, indicated that public schools in America were already controlled by atheistic thought! Furthermore, it is obvious that a great gulf exists between the teachings of Christ and the modern church, as well as in family life.

Can it be that the controlling mind-set in the vast majority of professing Christian families and churches is paganistic rather than Biblical? The answer to this question is obvious! But how can this be, especially since we “pray” to the same God and “read” the same Bible as did our forefathers?

Evolutionary Materialism: Our New Worldview!

Because evolutionary materialism along with its many components has replaced Biblical Christianity as America’s foundational worldview, it is therefore a reoccurring phenomenon today that the church-attending public reflect the mind-set of the present culture more than the Bible.

Since the present mind-set or worldview is steeped in evolutionism with all of its corollary ideologies and practices, it is easy to understand why there are so many breakdowns and inconsistencies in the lives of so many professing believers in America (e.g. 47% divorce among evangelicals, abject ignorance of scripture among Christians, a 70% loss of Christian youth to pagan philosophy by the time they reach 15 years of age, etc...).

The Chief Fruit of Evolutionism

By now, many will ask, "How did Evolution effect these kinds of drastic changes in American life?" The evolutionary theories affecting biology, geology, paleontology, etc..., while totally nonscientific, have, nevertheless in the name of science provided a legitimate means whereby anti-biblicists could excommunicate God from the center of American thought and life.

This excommunication culminated in 1962-63 when the U. S. Supreme Court declared prayer and Bible reading unconstitutional in America's public schools. With God's creatorship seriously jeopardized by mounting collections of so-called "scientific" evidence, modern American man eagerly began worshiping and serving himself, rather than the Creator (Romans 1:25).

"For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen." (NAS)

As a result, Self and its gratification has become the driving ambition in American life.

When a practicing believer tells me that they don't believe in evolution and, therefore, none of this pertains to them, I admonish them to reassess their situation. Why do you suppose Paul warned Timothy that during the last days it would be difficult to be a Christian (II Timothy 3:1)?

The answer is easy (see II Timothy 3:2-5).

"For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; and avoid such men as these." [emphasis mine] (NAS)

Verse two explains that during the "last days" men will love only themselves and their money. In other words, a rabid selfism is predicted to take charge of our worldview and our subsequent lifestyles. which is a condition that would naturally follow the expulsion of God and His law from any society. Has that happened in America? It certainly has!

The doctrine of Darwinian evolution gained the imagination of the college-set by the turn of the century, an event which ultimately culminated in the overthrow of America's Hebrew-Christian culture by 1962-63. From that time the moral decline in American society (church and all!) is a sad matter of real history.

As a Christian worker and professional educator for the past 40 years, I have been keenly aware that every aspect of life in America has been negatively influenced by the subtle and godless philosophy of evolutionism for some time (Colossians 2:8).

"See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ." (NAS)

As a result Creation Truth Foundation, Inc. was organized.
